 Payment will be taken for the retreat up until July 30th .

All final retreat payments are requested to be made by June 30th.

 As of July 1st. there will be no deposit returns.

There are still plenty of single rooms. At this time all special needs rooms are booked.

 All new! Two Thursday night classes that will go from 7-9 in the 2 regular class rooms, and one  7-11 in the four hour class room. The longer classes will have a higher fee. For the dye hards,three 'Midnight Madness' class rooms have been added for Thursday, Friday , and Saturday nights.

A Christmas in July social hour will be right after dinner Thursday night 6 to 7. A swap pysanka can be put in the Santa grab bag.Anyone that would like to take place in the pysanka swap must have a gift wrapped pysanka to be placed in the Santa Egg Exchange Bag.What a great way to add to your collection.

 Please  plan your time if you are attending a Thursday night class.

 The PysankyUSA Retreat price of $250.00 covers you for your stay, meals, and the 24 hour free for all room with dyes, wax and eggs.

  Some teachers may schedule free lecture forums between teaching, these are not structured for set times at the retreat, just a friendly get together.

For students arriving a day or days earlier, please contact Jim to book you in for room booking at meatro102@aol.com  Please do not contact the retreat center. Also no meals will be available for early arrivals, you must commute into town. 

 If you are planning to attend the retreat, but decide to stay at a hotel or time share, please notify Jim when booking. Retreat doors are locked each night at 11pm promptly.

                     Yes the retreat is Wi-Fi ready so bring your laptop.

 Year Three, and already 'Bigger-n-Better' Many new fantastic teachers, along with some of your favorites from previous years. This will be the largest PysankyUSA Retreat so far!

Cost to stay on-site:

$250.00 for room/board/meals per person. Adeposit of $50. is now being taken  Payment in full is due by June 30, 2013. Individual teacher class fees and supplies are extra.  Colorama Dyes,BeeBestWax waxes and  chicken eggs will be supplied for students for each class  at no extra charge.The 24 hour play room will have normal supplies, such as paper towels, The Works, eggs,dyes and wax all furnished by PysankyUSA for all attending the retreat.

Lunch buffet      12-1pm Fri. Sat

Dinner buffet       5-6pm Thurs. Fri. Sat

Cost for local commuters:

The cost for commuters is the same as those staying at the Retreat center - $250.00/person.  With this, you will receive all of the amenities as those staying at the retreat center, including meals, access to all classrooms, work rooms with eggs,Colorama dyes,BeeBestWax waxes, as well as a room with a bed if you choose.

Please note:

There will be no discounted pricing for those who e.g. can only stay 2 out of the 3 days, or those who choose not to eat meals at the center,or for someone that is traveling with an artist,but not attending the retreat, etc.

Most rooms are singles with a bed, desk & chair, lamp, easy chair and sink. There is a ceiling fan in each room.  Restrooms/showers are communal (think college dorm) and we will have ladies on one floor and gentlemen on another floor.Yes there are rooms with two beds. There are also rooms with a connecting  bathroom. The work and classroom areas are air conditioned.Please note at this time single rooms are all that are left.

Most special dietary needs can be accommodated with sufficient notification. And yes there are suites/double bed rooms. AT THIS TIME ALL SPECIAL NEED AIR CONDITIONED ROOMS ARE FILLED

Scranton, PA is approximately 10-15 mins away from Dalton, PA by car and has many nationally-known restaurants, retail and grocery stores should any other specific need arise.

There are several nearby hospitals, two of which specialize in severe trauma and other extreme issues.
